What is Profhilo?
Profhilo is an injectable skin remodelling treatment made by IBSA and containing one of the highest concentrations of hyaluronic acid of any injectable product — 64mg in just 2ml. It is unlike anything else available in aesthetic medicine.
The key difference: Profhilo does not fill or add volume. Once injected at five specific anatomical points on each side of the face, it spreads extensively beneath the skin — stimulating the production of collagen and elastin and profoundly improving tissue quality, hydration and laxity over the following weeks.
The result is not a structural change. It is a quality change. Your skin simply looks better — more hydrated, more elastic, more luminous. People notice, but they cannot say why.
Profhilo versus other skin boosters
Profhilo belongs to the category of injectable skin boosters, with a distinct mechanism of action. Traditional skin boosters like Juvederm Volite and Restylane Skinboosters hydrate and improve skin quality effectively. Profhilo contains a patented formulation of both high and low molecular weight hyaluronic acid that spreads far more extensively beneath the skin, stimulating a broader bioremodelling response. Think of it as the difference between watering a plant and changing its soil.
